A Family's Testimony

[This family attended one of our family weeks--a summer program that includes much of the teaching from our Train to Reign conferences.]

Before going to CTCI for Family Week, we really thought we had it all together. We've got a good marriage, good kids. I'm a good parent. But 30 minutes into the first session I realized I had something to learn. There's more to marriage-and there's more to parenting than just parenting for today. We're raising our kids for the future.

Through incredible work sessions, our eyes were opened to new perspectives and adjustments that would help to bring more peace and harmony to our family. The boys grew spiritually as they were with the godly young men and women on staff. The time of prayer on the last night was also a time that God gave our family some new promises that we, together, can stand on daily.

When we returned home, we did some "fine tuning" in our parenting and devotional time together as a family. There have still been the inevitable bumps in the road, but in all, we are a unified family who lives with even more peace and joy as we continue to trust in the Lord and be led by the Holy Spirit. We will always look back at our experience at CTCI as a pivotal time in our family's walk with the Lord. Thank you!
