| A Missionary's
Testimony After ten years in full time missions (beginning
as a young couple and along the way being blessed with three children), we reached
a point in our lives where we could no longer continue in ministry doing things
the way we had. As a missionary, husband and father, I had come to a place of
deep frustration with the multiple demands from all sides and the impossibility
to fulfill all of them. We had to come to a halt and needed to gain new perspective
for our lives. We had the privilege of attending
a Train to Reign program at CTCI in Franklin. Thanks to the personal investment
of the leaders and staff as well as the peaceful setting of the place, our lives
were transformed in many ways. As a husband and father
I learned what my priorities are and I got a revelation that these roles are a
major part of my calling. Also that I can expect God to do everything possible
to help me be successful in those areas, something I had almost given up on. I
learned to understand what the covenant of marriage really is and the depth of
God's commitment to it. To understand that marriage and family is a ministry and
part of the calling brought a tremendous release and a new freedom to really enjoy
those areas! As a family we learned to have a peaceful
atmosphere in the house or wherever we go! Mealtimes are times of rest and fellowship.
Our children are always excited when we celebrate communion together, something
we have learned and enjoyed regularly at CTCI. We are still reaping the fruit
of this time and are able to fully enjoy each other. J.G

Testimonies: "Before going to CTCI...we really thought
we had it all together. We've got a good marriage, good kids. I'm a good parent.
But 30 minutes into the first session..." More "We
came to Train to Reign with a family that could not even sit together..."
